butterfly 1Welcome.

What you’ll find in this blog is an attempt to express an opinion or a point of view, which may not necessarily be my own. If writing is a compound of ideas that have been borrowed, inspired by, influenced upon -an endless network -I hope what you read here brings you closer to this special little community.
I try to keep in mind what Charles Peguy once said:
“A word is not the same with one writer as with another. One tears it from his guts. The other pulls it out of his overcoat pocket.”

Misskutts … your writing style is fascinating. Upbeat and brimful of enthusiasm. Even the line above … ” You do not have the right to remain silent” – cute, different and as appealing as your site.

I am sorry I landed here so late … … but am swivelling my chair and pressing the follow button 🙂

Well hello there neighbor 😀 Greeting from Lahore, Pakistan :3 (I hope that won’t be a problem, I love Indians) ❤ Which state do you live in?
You have an amazing blog here 🙂 LOVE your poetry and sense of humor ^_^

  3. Kiran Acharya says:

You have an interesting blog. Your blog, the way you have classified the categories is so organised. Your writing is good too.
When I was sixteen I hated writing. Can’t imagine a sixteen year old blogging. 😀

  4. rushvijain says:

You are not/cannot be 16. All I did write was essays for homework when I was “sweet sixteen”!
Anyway, yours is an amazing blog and I am lucky to have stumbled upon a young talented writer from my part of the world. Good-luck and see you around.

    Much Love

You are a very gifted writer for your age (or any age for that matter) and you are certainly meeting your stated goals for beginning this blog–personal expression and empathy. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

    Hey there!

I got your invite a while back, and I would love to follow your blog! You’ve really got some great stuff here! ^_^ I used to write some poetry myself, but have since found my loves elsewhere. Anyway, I’m excited to see more for you, and feel free to add me back if you enjoyed my blog as well! 😀

    Thanks again!

    Hi Pia,
I was meant to be writing or rather ‘researching’, this afternoon and then I stumbled upon your blog, as you do, and that was the end of my writing for the day ! And research.

But, I had a delightful afternoon so all’s forgiven 🙂

Loved the poetry and the fiction and look forward to more.

PS: I am the queen of colds and coughs ( 3rd serious bout in 3 months) and such has been the case more or less all my life. To cut a long story short, I grew up in India and they plied me with antibiotics every time I had a cold which totally shot my immune system. So stick to the lemon and honey.

    • misskutts says:

Wow you better get back to that research then!
Thank you for such a lovely comment and for taking the time to read my posts. I’m sorry to hear that you have the cough curse too! Do take care of yourself 🙂

    I will eagerly await for your completion of finals; for two specific reasons;
As per your promise after your finals once again you will visit( By the way, have I thanked you for your recent comment on my blog?) my blog and comment on it.
I will be the first person to demand mega-party from you regarding your successful completion of finals.
Tell me; my which wish you will grant first????????????????????????????????????????????

    • misskutts says:

Haha the second is barely even a possibility as I’ll be partying with friends rather than throwing one! You’re most welcome for the comment on your blog (sorry for the delay). Well, I should probably head back to the books!

  12. swajithkas says:

As a part of my nature and mind set; whenever, I visit any blog; the first thing; I try to find out that what is the best from the entire blog; theme; widgets, color-combination, presentation-style that can be admired or appreciated.
So; with that mind set only I visited your blog today; almost in each and every area you are doing far more better than me; so, you simply defeated me.
But, one area that specifically, draw my attention is your wonderful reply to each comment; your reply of comments are not less valuable than your awesome post.
    Wishing you all the best…………………………

    • misskutts says:

My friend, you are certainly not defeated! In fact I admire your writing and your blog in general as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and leaving a wonderful comment. I was so scared to start this blog at first, SO SCARED. It’s encouragement like this that makes me work at my passion ten times harder! Thank you

      • swajithkas says:

If you really admire my blog or my writing you have taken time to comment on it; you didn’t comment there it means I am not approved as per your standard.
        Am I right?????????????????????

      • misskutts says:

Absolutely wrong! I am studying for my finals right at this moment so haven’t been able to comment on your blog just yet! I have read many of your posts and liked them too and I plan to comment them when I’m calm and collected and not typing in a rush (as I am now) wondering when my mum’s going to swoop in my room and take away my phone. So sorry if I made you feel otherwise!

  13. EarlGreyorNoWay says:

Christ, for someone so young (and I hate when people say that to me, because it pisses me off, but it’s so true), you’re so well-developed in your writing. I’m jealous.
But seriously – your writing is beautiful, you’re gorgeous, intelligent, talented, funny, and a truckload of other things that I can’t fit into a reasonably-sized comment. I’ll continue reading your stuff, so long as you keep posting! Keep it up.

    • misskutts says:

Thanks Sam! That’s really wonderful to read.
I AM JEALOUS of your humor. Like really. I’ve never come across even a book that’s made a me laugh half as much as your posts. I shall continue to read your posts too and thanks for stopping by xx

  14. frommymindtomyfingers says:

Hey! I just read this! Hahah I didn’t know you’re Indian :O I’m an Indian too! I love the part in bold! Did you write it yourself? The words are put together so beautifully 🙂

  15. claidig says:

Thank you for the invite and the kind words (I’d love to know what part of the site you found “inspiring”, because I thought I was mainly writing nonsense 🙂 ). Already some powerful stuff on here, long may it continue!

    • misskutts says:

I’ve read your blog ‘Sabethville’ and it’s just so down to earth.
You are one of the few people who has supported by blog a lot and I wanted to thank you so much for doing so!

  16. julespaige says:

I generally bookmark sites. I have been blogging for about two years.
But I’ve been writing for over forty. 🙂
I get inspiration from some great prompt sites. Some show up at my Gems site.
Those sites are one of the pages.

Best to you and yours this New Year.
